Want to steer a ship and blast through a wave of foes? Space Attack is a browser space shooter from our family of game sites. Its title screen sets up a trip through ten stages and ten bosses.
You can start a game from that screen, or look at the options first. A few moments with the controls can help you choose how you want to play.
Learn the flight controls
On a keyboard, the arrow keys or A and D move your ship. Space fires. The page also lists P to pause and R to restart. Read the controls on the game page before you launch.
Touch buttons appear on the page, too. If you use a controller, press a button so the browser can detect it. The options include a controller check and setup tools.
Choose your settings
Open Options to choose a difficulty and starting lives for your next campaign. There are separate controls for music volume and sound effects, so you can set the mix you want.
The game notes which choices apply to the next campaign. Check those notes before you start a new flight.

The title screen also links to concept art, the soundtrack and leaderboards. These give you other ways to spend time with the world when you are not in a flight.
