Privacy & promotions
MagiSoft Network introduces our own projects, approved community projects and paid sponsor campaigns. This notice describes the first version of our service.
When you introduce a project
We store the name or organization, email, project or organization URL, inquiry type, message and consent you submit so the MagiSoft team can review your request and contact you about it. This includes Development Fund and private funding-related business inquiries. The forms are intended for adult business contacts. Please do not submit financial documents, bank details or other sensitive financial information. Submitting does not create a campaign, book a placement, confirm a funding arrangement or authorize a payment. Please leave passwords, payment details and other sensitive information out of your message.
How promotions are measured
The service records ad requests, issued promotions, reported renders and clicks, with their campaign, placement and time. These are operational counts; they are not audited audience or billing measurements. A reported render means a promotion reported that it loaded, and does not guarantee a person saw it. We do not use the network to build cross-site visitor profiles or target people using personal characteristics.
Short-lived signed ad tokens help associate events with the promotion that was served and reject duplicate events. We use temporary, keyed hashes of network-address information to limit automated abuse of service requests, including inquiry, login, ad delivery and event endpoints. Hosting servers may keep standard access and security logs, including network addresses. We do not place advertising-tracking cookies through the network embed.
Manager access
The protected campaign manager uses a necessary session cookie for authorized operators. It is separate from public browsing. Inquiry information and manager records are kept in private storage and are available to authorized operators.
Where data goes
The network is hosted on DreamHost. An ad may link to another website; that website has its own privacy practices. MagiSoft does not send inquiry messages to other advertisers or publish them on this site. We do not sell the inquiry information you submit.
Retention and requests
Daily cleanup removes submitted inquiries older than 90 days, raw delivery records and associated events older than seven days, daily campaign aggregates older than 90 days, and audit entries older than one year. All-time aggregate delivery counters remain. Temporary abuse-prevention buckets expire at the end of their rate-limit window and are removed during cleanup. DreamHost access and security logs are managed separately. You can request a copy, correction or deletion of your inquiry using the introduction form. Identify the email and project you used and describe your request. We may need to confirm it came from you before releasing or changing personal information.
People who play games
Our platform is built around a shared interest in games across ages, genres and play styles. Browsing promotions does not require a player account. The business inquiry forms are for adult contacts; a parent or guardian should contact us on behalf of a younger creator. We do not request personal information from children through these forms. If you believe a child has submitted personal information, an adult can use the contact form to request its removal.
What the labels mean
- Ad · MagiSoft promotion: one of our own creations.
- Ad · Community promotion: an approved friend or collaborator’s project.
- Advertisement · Paid campaign: a sponsor’s paid placement, identified in the ad.
All promotions are reviewed before activation. Campaign schedules, prices and deliverables are agreed directly with a sponsor. The public form does not process payments. Contact us through the network introduction form about a promotion or privacy concern.
